Connie and Karla
Connie Barker & Karla Taylor began Light My Path Ministries, LLC in 2004. They both have a deep desire to serve the Lord’s church worldwide, especially edifying women in the kingdom, helping them grow closer & stronger in their Christian walk. This ministry grew naturally out of service they were doing at Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ in Arlington, TX
Connie graduated from Harding University and Texas A&M with a MS in Psychology. She and her husband have 3 children: a son who is a graduate of ACU, a son who is a graduate student at Georgia Tech, and a daughter who is a junior at Texas A&M. James currently serves as an elder at Pleasant Ridge.
Karla graduated from Oklahoma Christian with a degree in Elem. Ed. She and her husband, Mark, have served churches all over the United States. Karla regularly speaks at teacher-training workshops and Ladies Retreats. They have 2 daughters: a senior at Oklahoma Christian and one in junior high school. Mark is the Pulpit Minister at Memorial Road Church of Christ in Edmond, Oklahoma.
